Hon. Upinder Kalra

Judge Upinder Kalra serves as state court judge in Los Angeles County.  He currently presides over felony arraignments.  Prior to being appointed to the bench, Judge Kalra served as a deputy alternate public defender since 1995 and a deputy public defender, from 1990 to 1995.  Judge Kalra attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and UCLA School of Law before admission to the State Bar in 1990.
