NASABA Convention 2011 – June 23 -26, 2011

L.A., the City of Angels, Lalaland, Southland and Double Dubuque, are all nicknames for the great city of Los Angeles. Keep your calendars clear between June 23 – 26, 2011, because the North American South Asian Bar Association (“NASABA”) and the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California (“SABA-SC”) are proud to bring you NASABA’s Eight Annual Convention at the brand new J.W. Marriott Hotel at Los Angeles’ premier entertainment complex, LA Live. The Convention is suitably themed “Reaching for the Stars” and NASABA invites you to Los Angeles to not only discover why Los Angeles got its nicknames, but to experience the various speakers, panels, and events that NASABA has in store for its highly-regarded Annual Convention.
This is the place for attorneys of South Asian descent and attorneys and law students interested in issues facing South Asian-Americans and South Asia to meet, learn, and network. Last year’s Convention in Boston, offered attendees a unique line-up of history-making South Asian attorneys and professionals, including appellate litigators with more than 30 Supreme Court cases under their belts, the first South Asian federal judge, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and the Treasury Department’s $700 Billion Dollar Man. The 2011 Convention promises to deliver even more. Established stars in the legal scene will highlight panel sessions and deliver keynote addresses. Rising stars in the South Asian legal community will find the networking and educational opportunities second to none.
Please join NASABA this year for memorable experiences and prolific events and opportunities. Please visit www.nasabaconvention.org for additional information.
