Purvi G. Patel

Purvi is an associate with Morrison & Foerster LLP and a member of the firm’s Consumer Litigation and Class Action practice group, focusing on class action and complex commercial litigation involving unfair competition, false advertising, consumer fraud, data security, and privacy.  Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Purvi served as a law clerk to the Hon. Consuelo B. Marshall (U.S. District Court for the Central District of California).

Prior to her clerkship, Purvi was an associate at McDermott Will & Emery LLP in Chicago where she practiced for three years.  Purvi is a 2005 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and was named, in that same year, Loyola’s National Association of Women Lawyers’ Outstanding Law Student.  She received her B.A. in history, philosophy, and social studies of science and medicine from the University of Chicago in 2000.
