Salil Bali

Salil Bali is an Intellectual Property Litigator, at the law firm of Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth.  Salil’s practice focuses on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights including patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, anti-trust litigation, and complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts.  Prior to beginning his legal career, Salil had a successful career in biotechnology, working in the bioinformatics, medical device and diagnostic industries.  Salil earned his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, after receiving a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Microbiology and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Davis.

 

Salil has had a long standing commitment to the South Asian legal community.  Prior to serving in SABA-SC, Salil served as a member of the National Conference Committee for the North American South Asian Bar Association (“NASABA”), when the national conference was hosted in San Francisco.  Salil began his involvement with the South Asian legal community in law school when he served as the President of the North American South Asian Law Student Association (“NASALSA”) and hosted the organization’s annual national conference in San Francisco.  Salil has served as SABA-SC’s treasurer and president-elect over the past few years and maintains his active involvement in both the North American South Asian Bar Association (NASABA) and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).
