On May 11, 2020, SABA-SC hosted a webinar addressing discrimination against Asian Americans in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Manju Kulkarni, Executive Director of the Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council, discussed what we have learned from the Stop AAPI Hate website and what local activists are doing to assist victims. Robin Toma, Executive Director of the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations, updated attendees on the L.A. County Anti-Hate Initiative and efforts being taken by the LAC Human Relations Commission.
