Kiren Ahuja
Kiren is Hulu’s newest Associate Counsel. She was previously a transactional associate with Davis, Wright, Tremaine in the technology, advertising & entertainment practice group. At DWT, she represented clients in the entertainment and digital media sector on a wide variety of transactional matters, including the negotiation and drafting of rights acquisition, development, production, and distribution agreements for motion picture and television projects, merchandising agreements, content and data licenses, confidentiality agreements, software licenses, hosted services agreements, application development agreements, master services agreements, and website privacy policies. She is a graduate of Loyola Law School and received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCI. Before law school, Kiren worked in television production – highlights include working at Conan O’Brien’s show on TBS and getting slimed during the Kid’s Choice Awards!
Roma Patel
Roma is a member of the Health Care Practice Group in Buchalter’s Los Angeles Office. She focuses her practice on regulatory health care matters and health business transactions. She serves on the Joint LACBA-LACMA Committee on Biomedical Ethics, Los Angeles County Bar Association and President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession with the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Roma earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, concentrating in Health Law and Bioethics. She also earned an M.P.H, focusing on Administration and Policy from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health in 2015. In her spare time, Roma hones her woodworking skills. Her current project is a custom coffee table for her apartment.
