Neema SahniNeema Sahni is a commercial litigation partner at Covington & Burling LLP in Los Angeles, where she represents a range of clients in the sports, media, and entertainment industries in high-stakes business disputes and counseling matters.  Neema co-leads the firm’s Music Industry initiative, and maintains an active pro bono practice, including the ongoing representation of the City of Los Angeles in sanctuary cities litigation.  Prior to joining Covington in LA, Neema worked in-house at The Walt Disney Company in content distribution.  Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Neema received her B.A. from Yale University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.  In her free time, Neema teaches a Bollywood dance fitness class, and enjoys having impromptu dance parties with her 3-year-old daughter and going on hikes and traveling with her family.

 

Kiren AhujaKiren Ahuja is an Associate Counsel at Hulu.  She received her B.A. in Political Science from UC Irvine and her J.D. from Loyola Law School.  She represents clients in the entertainment and digital media sector on a wide variety of transactional matters, including the negotiation and drafting of  rights acquisition, development, production, and distribution agreements for motion picture and television projects, merchandising agreements, content and data licenses, confidentiality agreements, software licenses, hosted services agreements, application development agreements, master services agreements, and website privacy policies. Kiren routinely advises clients in the development of new media and digital advertising initiatives, such as media buys, branded content, and experiential advertising campaigns (including providing business and legal insights on compliance with relevant FTC guidance, contest and sweepstakes elements, and the negotiation of talent and advertising agency/client agreements).
