SABA-SC was proud to join NAPABA and other sister bar organizations to sign on to a letter drafted by a coalition of Asian American and Pacific Islander organizations. The letter urges United States House and Senate leadership to issue a statement dispelling misinformation surrounding the coronavirus, as well as denouncing any racially-motivated attacks.

The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), has raised economic and health concerns both at a global and national level. Fear and misinformation have led to increased xenophobia, discrimination, and racially-motivated violence against Asian Americans and Asian American-led businesses.

SABA-SC unequivocally denounces all discrimination and/or racially-motivated violence, and encourages members of the community to stay informed as to developments regarding COVID-19.
